Reading requirements are for the grade you will enter in August:
Kindergarten: 15 picture books with an adult or independently
1st Grade: 15 picture books or 5 chapter books with an adult or independently
2nd Grade: 30 picture books or 10 chapter books independently
3rd Grade: 6 chapter books of 100 pages or more independently
4th Grade: 6 chapter books of 125 pages or more independently
5th Grade: 6 chapter books of 150 pages or more independently
Kindergarten: 15 picture books with an adult or independently
1st Grade: 15 picture books or 5 chapter books with an adult or independently
2nd Grade: 30 picture books or 10 chapter books independently
3rd Grade: 6 chapter books of 100 pages or more independently
