Invention Convention is scheduled for September 11-25 and all JBE students are encouraged to take part!

This is an opportunity for your children to enhance their problem-solving skills and come up with innovative approaches to tackle the challenges they observe in the world. A big thank you to our business partner, Challenge Island, who is helping sponsor the event.

Register Online before the end of the day Thursday 9/11/2025.

Entries must be one of the below:

• Inventions: These are new products, processes, or services that have not been created before.

• Innovations: These are improvements to an existing product, process, or service.

Students may enter as an Individual or a group. Group projects are limited to 3 students, all of whom must be in the same grade.

All participants must submit an Online Registration Form, to be completed by a parent. Registration CLOSES at the end of the day Thursday, September 11, 2025. No late entries will be accepted.

For group entries, only one parent representative needs to complete the online registration form.

How to Enter a Project:

1. Complete Online Registration Form.

   Make sure to check your email on or after 9/12/2025 for the Project Submission #, which must be displayed on the Final Project Submission.

2. Download the Detailed Instructions for Project Submission.

3. Download the Entry Form.

4. Create an AMAZING Invention Prototype and Display Board

5. Bring completed project to school by the due date.

   1. K-3rd Grade Projects are DUE: Monday, September 15, 2025

   2. 4th - 5th Grade Projects are DUE: Thursday, September 18, 2025

Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the end of STEM Night on Thursday, September 25, 2025, 6-8pm.

Projects will also be displayed during the evening STEM Night

Prizes will be awarded to each winning inventor by our sponsor, Challenge Island!
