New Family Playground Meetup
An opportunity for new families to connect with other families before the start of school. Meet at the playground at JBE!
Deadline to Register for Summer Reading Celebration
Complete registration by end of 8/2/2026 to reserve your child's spot. Online submission is required for each child.
New or returning JBE students who complete the required reading for their grade level by end of 8/2/2026 are invited to the exclusive Summer Reading Challenge Celebration!
Register HERE. Please submit the form once per student with all book titles.
Reading requirements are for the grade you will enter in August:
Kindergarten: 10 picture books
1st Grade: 10 picture books or 5 chapter books of child’s reading ability. Audio Books count!
2nd Grade: 5 chapter books of child’s reading ability. Audio Books count!
3rd Grade: 5 chapter books of child’s reading ability. Audio Books count!
4th Grade: 5 chapter books of child’s reading ability. Audio Books count!
5th Grade: 5 chapter books of child’s reading ability. Audio Books count!

Summer Reading Celebration

First Day Parent Social
Drop your student(s) off and join us for coffee and connections with other parents and caregivers at the playground gazebo.
JBE Independence Day
Wear red, white, and blue to celebrate all students walking into school independently!
Spirit Shirt Order Deadline
Don’t forget to order your JBE spirit shirt. Shirts are $8 each, and parents also love wearing them to school events and field trips!

Come out and support JBE by having dinner at Chipotle!
